| SIERRAGRES receives the ALFA DE ORO 2009 Award |
 During Cevisma 2009, Sierragres received one of the prestigious ALFA DE ORO, awarded every year by the SECV (SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE LA CERAMICA Y VIDRIO - Spanish Glass and Ceramics Association). Innovation is the area in which the new Sierragres product SIERRABLOCK has shown itself to be a highly versatile and technically advanced product.The award is recognition of the dedicated effort made over more than two and a half years by the Sierragres R+D team, with their CEO, Francisco Luque, as the driving force behind the project. The awards are designed to reward the underlying innovative aspects of the projects presented, as well as to stimulate scientific, technological and artistic creativity in the Glass and Ceramics products exhibited at specialised International Trade Fairs. The philosophy underlying the product aimed to provide a TECHNICAL solution that satisfies the Building Code’s guidelines for APPEARANCE, SAFETY, LONG LIFE AND ECONOMY, thus adding something new to that previously available. |
