Base It is a large stoneware block, with the outer side exposed and enamelled, (the inner side may also be enamelled). The horizontal sides are tongued and grooved in order to be placed properly and used as a Finished Façade. Its measurements are decided by the maximum weight that may be handled by a worker. |
Conection tile It is the other section of the Base Part that keeps the inner side, and is used to fill in the batter of the Correction tile, where it meets the structure. |

Conection tile It is a section of the Base Part that keeps the outer side exposed and is used to cover the structure in those areas in which the Base Part does not fit.
|
Cap U-shaped part, it is used to make the Beam (Lintel) that will bear the weight of the wall on the Hollows in the Enclosure. Its outer finish maintains the continuity of the SIERRABLOCK®. Exposed Façade. It is produced with 4 central ribs (Left fig.) that will be deleted according to the span of the hollow, in order to adjust the edge of the beam. |
|
|
Weather board It is used to cover the window sill with the same material as the façade. The waterproofing under the weather board should use specific waterproof sheets for this purpose. |
Wall ending This Part is used to finish off a wall in the Hollows of windows and doors, in those cases where the guides for the blinds are concealed, behind the outer sheet made with BASE PARTS. It has the same finish as the BASE PARTS and is placed in the windows on the WEATHER BOARD to improve the moisture insulation. |

Corner They are Base Parts or Correction Tiles which are cut at a 45º angle, one right and one left in order to make the corner of the wall (they may be manufactured on site by cutting with a water disc). CORNER parts are manufactured for the 20cm-wide Hollow Recesses. On site it will be necessary to make straight cuts in the Wall Ending parts, measuring the thickness of the part (12 cm), so as to adapt it to the façade’s measurement. The Correction tiles must be cut on site, both straight and 45º cuts. |

Construction solutions
|
Hollow with Straight Recess It is used on the whole Body of the Enclosure. It is made with the SIERRABLOCK® CORNER Parts, in this case the Blind guide is left exposed. |
Hollow with Recess Set Back in the Lining It is made with the SIERRABLOCK® WALL ENDING Part, in this case the guides for the blind will be concealed behind the Wall ending part. |
|
|
Crown This Part is used to finish off the Walls made with the BASE PARTS on the upper and side parts of those Walls. They have the same finish as the BASE PARTS and have guttering on the lower part to protect the wall from staining as a result of the rain. |
Tile This tile has the same surface finish as the Base Part, which is used to provide a solution to Special joints. |

Fixing methods
They are metallic elements that are used to fix the CORRECTION tiles to the pillars and to the wall that they extend from, in such a way as to comply with the requirements of the C.T.E. [Spanish Building Code] section DB HS 2.3.3.4. |
Anchor pins 12 mm Anchor pin that is inserted into the pillar and which is used to bear the weight of the CORRECTION tiles in each pillar and on floors. This anchor pin has an M-10 pointer that is inserted into a hole drilled at its height in the CORRECTION tile (on the rear side). This Anchor pin is guaranteed to bear weights of up to 400 kg, equivalent to the weight of 70 Correction Tiles. |
Straps Straps measuring approximately 100 x 10 x 1 mm, Straight or Angled, which are used to join one Correction tile to another and to the BASE Parts of the Wall. They are used to stabilise the parts while they are being put in place and also act as a joint to the wall, together with the mortar. The angled strap is used to join the Corner Parts and enables the Mortar to set, preventing the parts from moving. |
